About the Agen Workshop
Who was I? A girl who had gone to Cameroon in 1967 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. After a year of service I married François Dubois and helped him and his father with their store and import-export business. François was French, had been educated in France and wanted to settle there eventually. We bought a “vacation home” in southwest France. As the years passed, we became concerned about the education of our children and wanted them to have the advantage of a French education. It seemed best for me and the children to move to our home in France while François took on a new job in Cameroon.
