Hélène Colinet came to Agen as a participant in 2016 and she is so quiet that I’m not sure I noticed her that year. But the following year she was back, with her friend, Alice Ayel. And I saw the two French girls who were so observant during Dr. Krashen’s presentations. Hélène teaches French in Spain and Alice was teaching French in Germany at that time. Then I started to see a lot of teachers from Spain registering for the conference and I discovered that Hélène was traveling around Spain, doing workshops and telling teachers about Dr. Krashen and Agen.

Every year Hélène amazes me. She’s quiet and gentle, but she’s also very firm about what she believes and tenacious in her desire to do what is best for her students.
